Our Mission
Welcome to Saudi Weather (weathersaudi.com), your website for clear and accurate weather forecasts across Saudi Arabia. Our goal is to make daily life easier for citizens, residents, travellers, farmers and business owners with forecasts that are updated continuously.
Covering Every Region of the Kingdom
We track the weather in all thirteen regions of the Kingdom: from major cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah and Dammam to cities in the north and south such as Tabuk, Abha, Jazan and Hail. We take into account the diversity of climates between the coasts, the highlands and the desert areas.
Our Data Sources
Our forecasts are based on global weather models provided by OpenWeatherMap, along with marine data for beaches. Data is updated every hour: temperature, humidity, wind, UV index, air quality and chance of rain.
Our Commitment to Our Visitors
We believe that good weather information should be free, easy to access and easy to understand, on a phone or a computer.
Our Sources and Methodology
- City forecasts: weather models provided by OpenWeatherMap, updated several times a day.
- Animated radar map (rain, wind, temperature and clouds): the GFS global weather model from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), updated every 6 hours.
- Official warnings: we always refer you to the alerts of the National Center for Meteorology (NCM), the only official source of weather warnings in the Kingdom.
Our Editorial Policy
The Saudi Weather editorial team writes the blog articles to explain the Kingdom's climate and help everyone prepare for heat, rain, dust and wind. Articles are based on general climate knowledge and on our forecast data, and they do not replace official alerts. Spotted a mistake or have a question? Write to us from the "Contact Us" page and we will correct it quickly.
